First Entry

Gina and I arrived in New York City on the 7th. Since then we have been enjoying the city with both my parents (from the 7th to the 14th) and my brother-in-law Charles (from the 14th to presently...). The last time we were here was over a year ago when Gina and I were looking at both Columbia and NYU for grad school (for Gina... I would discover that I lacked the ability to get into either of these schools :( ). During the time we spent in SoCal I quickly forgot how HUGE the island of Manhattan actually is. There is so much culture and character to every street and neighborhood on this small piece of land. I'm glad Gina and I have had this extra time to soak up some of the city before we are both swamped with school. Despite our ongoing troubles with the movers (and Gina's inability to find "flaming hot cheetos" ANYWHERE in this city) everything feels like it's coming together.

Here are some pics of good times so far...

Ah, New York. The pictures are great. We had a fantastic time with you and Gina in NY but miss you both already. We know you'll do great in school. Back home we'll be 'Waiting for Christmas . . .'
